Cute ducks we don’t have in Amherst!
I love their tufts when they hold their heads up! Bobbing along in calm and choppy waters.
These are diving ducks who eat vegetation.
I kept hoping they would come up with a fish but this is all I saw.
Some kind of ball of vegetation.
They float around with their lady friends, diving here and there.
Sometimes they just look funny – like this one sticking his tongue out at me, I think.
The males catch the eye at first but the females have their own charm.
