Red-tailed Hawk in my maple tree this morning

I awoke to the screeching of a very irate robin. When it hadn’t stopped by the time I was dressed I went out to see what the problem was. Sitting, seemingly oblivious to the discomfort he was causing, was our neighborhood Red-tail. He must not have been very hungry because there were plenty of little birds flitting about in the tree during his visit! Below see the alarmist and the hawk photoshoot. The shots are redundant except for the way he cocks his head while taking in his surroundings.

  1. I love this Marjie! I’ve looked at it several times and each time I read “the alarmist”, I crack up! The shots of the hawk are beautiful!
