Neighborhood birds

Looking for the Bohemian Waxwings, I came across these other beauties. The Cardinal was sitting pretty waiting for me to take his picture.

Around the corner, this Starling was busy collecting for a nest I’d say! At my feeder, where they congregate to eat me out of house and home, I’m not fond of them, but actually they are really pretty, all shiny and speckled.

And finally one of my nemesis birds, the Carolina Wren. This little bird wakes me up several months of the year but I have never gotten a decent picture of him. In my yard they are flitty, in and out of the bushes, but this guy spent a full 5 minutes calling across the neighborhood from the top of this tree. Too bad I wasn’t able to get a good picture of his more colorful side.
