So many birds finally – hard to choose whom to focus on at the marsh yesterday at dinner time. For the Green, it was frogs marinated in pond water; for the Great Blue, catfish with a side of salad. We’ll start with photos of the Great Blue’s entangled meal.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, a little Green was patiently looking around. I love it when they look right at me – they nearly make me cross-eyed! Ten minutes later, he/she had her own froggy dinner to enjoy. I actually think there were 2 frogs in a row, but it was so far out, I’m not sure. I know it takes quite a while for them to get one down. (I would like to point out how difficult it is to spot them in these surroundings!)
Finally, on my way out, the Great Blue, now on the other end of the pond, took a bow and made a curtsey!
