A week later
A month later, residing deep in the reeds
September 3, feeding and enjoying a beautiful day.
The last shot is of Mama or Papa.
Suddenly on high alert. I’m not sure why but they all stopped feeding and posed beautifully then gradually relaxed into normal behavior patterns again. The adult is the one with the bright red beak. They were so close that they took up the entire frame.
