I’ve been watching the sumac hedge off and on for a few days to see if I could spot a baby.
She seemed awfully confident up there, surveying the scenery. Her papa was hanging around and I got a nice shot of his beautiful feathers from behind this time.
Other highlights of an otherwise hot and quiet evening were this goldfinch in amusing poses and a lovely Monarch butterfly.
